You can now watch Disney+ in the Tesla Theatre app, thanks to Tesla’s latest 2021.24 software update, which also brings other new features such as Car Wash Mode, Mirror Auto Dim, and more (via Tesla North).
The Tesla 2021.24 release notes were shared by a Tesla owner on Reddit, which showed up on their Model 3 Standard Range Plus.
Here’s what’s new in Tesla’s 2021.24 software update:
– Tesla Theater Gets Disney+: You can now watch Disney+ in the Tesla Theatre App. Click here to sign up for Disney+.
– Car Wash Mode: Closes all your windows, locks the charge port and also disables the wipers, sentry mode, walk-away door locks and parking sensor chimes.
Tesla says “for automatic car washes with conveyor belts, the Free Roll option shifts to Neutral and prevents the parking brake from automatically applying if you leave. Access by going to Controls > Service > Car Wash Mode.
– Mirror Auto Dim: Tesla says you can now enable/disable auto dimming for your mirrors. Tap Controls > Mirror > Mirror Auto Dim to access.
– Dashcam Improvements: Tesla Dashcam can now automatically save clips when your car detects a safety event (such as accident or an airbag going off). Recordings are stored locally. Opt-in by going to Controls > Safety & Security > Dashcam > AUTO.
– Range Display: Tesla now lets you switch between battery percentage and distance units faster, by tapping the range display next to the battery icon.
Tesla began rolling out 2021.24 after 2021.12.25.7, which was also released earlier today.
