Tesla Supercharger in Richmond, B.C., Looks to Have Started Construction [u]

It appears a new Tesla Supercharger has started construction in Richmond, British Columba, home of a high concentration of Teslas.

One member from the Tesla Motors Club said he spotted construction underway at Richmond Centre of what looks like 20 charging stalls. The location of this Supercharger is facing Westminster Highway, in the north parking lot by Hudson’s Bay and adjacent to the popular Kirin Seafood Restaurant.

Below is a screenshot from Google Maps showing the location of this Supercharger construction and roughly the area it is taking up in the parking lot:

Here is a picture shared from a Vancouver Tesla Facebook group of the parking lot, showing a fenced-off area of where the construction is apparently taking place, posted last night:

Currently, Tesla Superchargers in Metro Vancouver are available in Surrey, Tsawwassen and Vancouver (Burrard and Pacific Centre). Coming soon locations include Burnaby, North Vancouver, West Vancouver and White Rock.

This Richmond Supercharger location could be up and running before the end of the year. If 20 stalls are available, would that even meet the demand in Richmond?
