WatchOS 2 was supposed to be available last week with iOS 9, but Apple delayed it due to a bug. Just now, watchOS 2 is now available as a download over-the-air. WatchOS 2 brings new watch faces, along with native third-party apps which should make for much faster load times.
Just launch the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, go to Settings > General > Software Update to get the download, which stands at 515MB. You will be require a Wi-Fi network for the download, plus at least 50% battery life on your Apple Watch. We’re updating our watch now and will follow up shortly.
