This update gains the syncing of flights over multiple devices through Air Canada mobile+, along with Aeroplan bookings when you link your account in settings. Check-ins are now easier, says Air Canada, when you complete your mobile+ profile, since select details will be autofilled.

Users can now also purchase travel options such as Maple Leaf Lounge access, during new bookings or as an addition to existing bookings.

Air Canada says boarding passes again can be saved in the app for offline use or added to Wallet on your iPhone (not new), while users can now subscribe to customized push notifications.

The app also gains 3D Touch quick actions from the app icon for Check In, Flight Status, Your Flights and Book a Trip. The app also now supports larger iPhone models such as iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The iPad version was updated as well.

I saw the update this morning… just as I was getting off my Air Canada flight. The irony 😛

Still no Apple Pay support within the app.

I’d honestly pay more if it means avoiding flying with Air Canada.
