Manage Documents And Scans With Scanner Pro For iPhone

Scanner Pro transforms your iPhone into a portable scanner. The app comes in very handy in situations where you have a printed document that needs to be sent via email but there is no scanner nearby. Enter iPhone.

Scanner Pro by Readdle

Scanner Pro lets users scan multi-page documents and then send them via email or upload to services such as MobileMe iDisk or other WebDAV enabled servers. The service that this application performs is ideal for students and business users, but the application can be used for all types of document related situations.

When using email, users can easily preview the scanned document(s) and then send the email from within the app. Scanned documents can also be sent to computers, such as a Mac or PC, via WiFi. Once files are scanned, they are automatically converted into a .PDF file extension, which is a great since PDF is quite universal.

For file protection, users may opt to have scanned files protected by password or simply leave them password-less. Users may modify password settings from within the app on scanned documents.

For iPhone 3GS users, the device can scan documents and convert them into editable Microsoft Word documents read by .DOC and .DOCX file extensions. These files are then viewable on a desktop computer with any OCR desktop software.

Users of the DropBox service can upload scanned files directly to their accounts, as the newest Scanner Pro update features DropBox and Print n Share integration.

Scanner Pro is available on the iTunes App Store for $6.99.
