Virgin Mobile Reduces iPhone Data Add-Ons By $5

Starting today, Virgin Mobile has reduced all of their data add-ons by $5.00 per month. This is huge news for prospective and current Virgin Mobile customers.

Check out the changes below:

$30 Smartphone Data – 500MB

  • Was: $30
  • Now: $25
  • SOC Code: V20355N2

$55 Smartphone Data – 3GB

  • Was: $55
  • Now: $50
  • SOC Code: V20358N2

$65 Smartphone Data – 5GB

  • Was: $65
  • Now: $60
  • SOC Code: V20359N2

$35+ Smartphone Flex-Data

  • Was: $35
  • Now: $30
  • SOC Code: V20360N2

It is important to note that this price reduction brings Virgin Mobile inline with Bell, Rogers/Fido, and Telus. Previously, data add-ons were more expensive per month with Virgin Mobile.

Prospective Virgin Mobile customers will be able to immediately take advantage of the new pricing.

Existing customers should call *611 from their Virgin Mobile device and request the updated package. I have listed the new SOC codes (what the reps use to identify the plan) for each package above.
