X1Zero’s Random August iPhone Game Giveaway!

by Mr. Ex on August 4th, 2009

I am going to introduce a new segment today called “X1Zero’s Random [insert month] iPhone [insert app/game] Giveaway“. (It’s a work in progress :) )

x1zeros-corner

This segment will:

  • Last 24 hours
  • Only happen a couple of times a month (maybe less or maybe more)
  • Be extremely easy to win
  • Be posted at random (so no more 3AM internet lurking for our contests!)

You can see why I am calling it random!

Everyone loves their iPhone and even more love free stuff, so I figured why not blend the two together? Everyone that reads my posts knows how much I love to give stuff away!

So, what’s up for grabs?

I am giving away FOUR (4) promo codes for the iPhone game ‘ThreadBound‘. You may recall my review of it here.

Threadbound Start

ThreadBound is loaded with great features! It has a great control scheme, solid sounds and visuals, a ton of levels, and a level editor (wicked cool). To add to this, ThreadBound was recently updated to include Social Networking with Twitter and Facebook, an online chat, a friends list, a high score leaderboard and ACHIEVEMENTS!!!

Threadbound1

All of this and more for $0.99 is a great price, but it can be yours for free!

How to Win

Since this is the inaugural post of my random giveaway randomness, to enter, just comment below the following:

1.) What do you think of Threadbound the game?

2.) Is this new giveaway segment a good idea?

How easy is that!

And remember, winners are chosen at random and the contest ends August 5, 2009 at 5:00PM PST.

2.) I always like giveaways and think it is a great way to get new users to the site, or reward the users that already visit the site. So, great idea. Looking forward to more.

    1) I think the game Threadbound reminds me of Lemmings. In Lemmings you have a bunch of little lemmings. You have to click on certain lemmings and get them to either dig or build bridges to get to point b from point a. The objective was to get as many of them to the door without sacrificing a certain percentage of them.

If this game is anything like Lemmings, which by reading your review... it sounds like it is a lot like it, then I think I should enjoy the game.

A couple days a go (maybe yesterday :D) I just discovered a game I like that is a lot like Risk but it's way way way way quicker. It's called Lux Touch. If you think I'm spamming the game, you can remove it from my post... but I didn't make it at all and it's free anyways.

    2) Yes, I do like this giveaway segment. I tried a couple times before like your following twitter contests and the ones where you win a case, but I haven't won any contests yet.

Whoever posts now below me, good luck with the contest!
