Are you a member of the iPhoneinCanada.ca Forums? During the initial launch of the iPhone 3G in Canada these forums were bustling with exclusive upgrade details from X1Zero. People couldn’t stop talking about the iPhone launch in Canada.
As time went on, the forums hit a bit of a speed bump but we’re happy to announce they are back up and running. They have been updated to the latest version of vBulletin and we are happy to announce the forums are back! This is the the premier gathering place for Canadian iPhone fans. Have an issue to discuss? I was going to happily register until the first question was my date-of-birth. Why is this relevant?
In these days of identity theft and security breaches, I don't think I'll be registering. It's not that iPhoneinCanada is going to do anything but I just don't see the need for my DOB, whether I give you the correct one or not.
I will, however, continue to check the page regularly and participate as normal.
Registering a DOB is part of vBulletin's security measures to verify
users are of age. You can make up any DOB you want, along with a “pen
name”, and secondary email. Your info will be safe 100%. It's up to
you on how much info you want to divulge on the internet. 🙂
But Gary – if the Trolls troll the Forums, then who will Troll the Comments?

i frequent this website quite a bit for my Canadian iPhone information. But I've yet to come across a more poorly desgined and un-user friendly site then this. it's a mess… It sure could use some spring cleaning or maybe a web desginer… WordPress anybody?
Nice to see the forum back up and running. Yeah when the 2G came out this forum was the place to go – Glad to see it up and running again in the newer version.
The font used makes it a little hard to read. As before it was a lot easier to distinguish headlines. Maybe it is just my tired old eyes. 🙂
And here I thought the upgrade information was released for the iphone 4.

Hey Ex or Gary or whoever can help me! Someone of a local classified ad site says he's got a new iphone 4 locked to fido. Is this possible? Like i dont know how he would get it that early and i doubt that fido would already have iphone 4 in stock and he somehow got his hands on it

Wise advice. I heard that carriers will be selling a non-contract iPhone 4 for $699 16GB /$799 32GB and apple will be selling them only $599 16GB /$699 32GB to bring in more sales. True or False?
Unfortunately no.
Apple controls the pricing at their own stores and the carrier stores.
However, carrier stores are VERY unlikely to sell outright iPhones. Yes,
they *can* sell them, but they will be reluctant to do so because they will
make no commission on the sale.
