Indie iPhone Holiday Sale: 6 Games Reduced to 99 Cents For Charity

Looks like it’s the season for app sales. This time around, a group of independent iPhone developers have collaborated to raise money for the charity called Child’s Play.

Six independent iPhone game creators have joined forces to raise money for Child’s Play, a charity that helps sick kids play their favorite games while they’re in the hospital. We’ve put our most popular games on sale for just $0.99 each, some for the first time ever, and a third of all our sales (after Apple takes their share) will be donated to Child’s Play!

When we were kids, all we wanted for the holidays was video games. Now that we’re grown up, it feels really good to give back 🙂

More about Child’s Play:

Since 2003, over 100,000 gamers worldwide have banded together through Child’s Play, a community-based charity grown and nurtured from the game industry and culture. Over 7 million dollars in donations of toys, games, books and cash for sick kids in children’s hospitals around the world have been collected since their inception.

There’s nothing better than supporting a charitable cause. The six games on sale include:

The Indie iPhone sale is also offering some nice freebies such as ringtones and accompanying wallpaper.

Kudos to these iPhone game devs for helping out Child’s Play. The sale goes from December 21-31 and all sales numbers will be published on the site (with estimations during the iTunes Connect holiday shutdown).
