Amazon Canada Reveals the 20 Most Romantic Cities in Canada [LIST]
Amazon.ca has revealed the list of the 20 most romantic cities in Canada, based on the compilation of sales data from January 1, 2013 to January 3, 2014. Data from purchases of romance novels, relationship books (Kindle books and print), romantic comedy DVDs, and romantic music CDs in cities on a per capita basis with more than 80,000 residents.
This year, the Top 20 Most Romantic Cities in Canada are:
- Victoria, British Columbia
- Winnipeg, Manitoba
- Niagara Falls, Ontario
- Lethbridge, Alberta
- North Vancouver, British Columbia
- Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
- Kamloops, British Columbia
- Langley, British Columbia
- Edmonton, Alberta
- Regina, Saskatchewan
- Red Deer, Alberta
- Thunder Bay, Ontario
- Calgary, Alberta
- Brantford, Ontario
- Sherbrooke, Quebec
- Pickering, Ontario
- Kingston, Ontario
- Nanaimo, British Columbia
- Waterloo, Ontario
- Cambridge, Ontario
Some notable stats include Winnipeg jumping to the second spot from number 11 last year, as they have purchased the most romantic print and Kindle books.
Waterloo ranked second for ordering the most romantic comedies; North Vancouverites were ranked second for buying the most romantic CDs; meanwhile Niagara Falls, Langley, Brantford, Sherbrooke, Pickering and Cambridge were newcomers to the Top 20 list.
