BlackBerry Announces “See The Bigger Picture” Event on 09.24.14

Event three up

It seems that BlackBerry is now all set to launch the much anticipated BlackBerry Passport this month as the company has today announced “See The Bigger Picture” event, which will be held on 24th September, 2014. Much like the BlackBerry 10 launch last year, the launch will be global in three cities i.e. Toronto, London & Dubai.

“On September 24, all eyes will be on BlackBerry as we host exclusive, invite-only events in Toronto, London and Dubai to show off… well I guess you’ll have to wait and see. The Inside BlackBerry team will be there, along with an exclusive list of media and industry guests, to bring you all the action.”

While there are still three weeks to go before the official launch, a new video of a leaked BlackBerry Passport comparing the device with BlackBerry Z10 and Z30 has hit the web (via Gizmobic). The video gives a closer look at the thickness of the device in comparison with other BlackBerry 10 devices. Furthermore, the video also shows how the magical keyboard in Blackberry Passport works.

Check out the video below and let us know if you’re excited.

Lol didn’t realize that company was still in business

  • The timing couldn’t have been worse–the week after iPhone 6 is said to arrive in stores. Coverage will disappear amongst Apple headlines.

My god…yes, let’s release a device with an aspect ratio comparable to that of tube televisions circa 1950-2000. They’d have a better chance at success if they made a go in the asswipe market.

Oh yawn blackberry. Can you just fold and move along already please and thanks.

I see the bigger picture … A company once larger than life is now effectively irrelevant … Nortel 2.0
