Apple Sitemap Leak Shows Silicone and Leather Cases for iPhone XS and XS Max

Just a few hours before the new iPhone lineup is set to be unveiled, a new leak has revealed shared product sitemap data related to a number of iPhone accessories.

Silicone cases for the iPhone X

According to a new report from AllThingsHow (via MacRumors), Apple’s product XML sitemap has revealed links to silicone iPhone XS cases in Black, White, Midnight Blue, (PRODUCT)Red, and Stone. The sitemap also listed leather iPhone XS cases in Black, Taupe, and (PRODUCT)Red. The sitemap has since been pulled but you can download the old version here.

The same sitemap shows that Apple will offer silicone cases for the iPhone XS Max in the same colours — Black, White, Midnight Blue, (PRODUCT)Red, and Stone. While they were listed for the iPhone XS, leather cases weren’t spotted for the larger iPhone XS Max, although one can only imagine they will be available upon the phone’s release.

OtterBox cases for both the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max were also spotted in the sitemap.

AllThingsHow also discovered the iPhone XR name in the sitemap in reference to AppleCare coverage for all new models of the iPhone — something that is expected every year. This year’s AppleCare coverage includes coverage for both theft and loss.

In related news, the same source discovered and confirmed the names of the upcoming iPhone lineup — the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and the iPhone XR —  as well as their storage capacities and colour options. It also confirmed the new 40mm and 44mm Apple Watch sizes, as well as it’s new front panel.

Apple’s Gather Round” event begins at 10:00 AM PST today (a little over two hours from publication), so stay tuned to IIC for the latest news as the event happens.
