Share:

Macotakara is reporting their sources have indicated the ‘iPhone 4S’ is set for September production, and to follow up with an October release, along with an iPad 3 as well. They did not hear any details about the iPhone 5. Google translation:

I listened similar information which supports According to sources, iPhone 4S which is based on iPhone 4(CDMA) and new iPad will be started produce since 1st week in September and will be shipped in late October

The iPhone 4S appears to be an upgraded version of the iPhone 4, and was previously reported Macotakara in late May, corroborating a similar report from Digitimes. During that time they claimed this new iPhone would feature the A5 chip from the iPad 2, an 8MP camera, and world phone support with GSM/CDMA capabilities.

This time around, Macotakara just claims on the timeline of production and October availability, possibly coinciding with earlier October rumours of the iPhone 5 coming to Telus, and launch, as mentioned by AllThingsD.

if apple will not come out with a 4g lte phone and think they will get clients by adding an 8 mp camera and a5 chip they are making a huge mistake as android phones are already powered by better processors and myself and iphone user for 4 yrs am not sold on iphone at this stage. my next phone if those rumors are correct will be an android not sure which yet. but it will definitly have ice cream sandwich.

  • Where do you live?  Do they even support 4G yet?  There might be better hardware out there yet but I have spent a lot of time with a Nexus S and was not impressed with Android at all.  It was consistently out of batteries in 4 hours.  The screen looked very brilliant but I find it much nicer to read on the iPhone.  I still think Androids are playing catch up.

I agree. The new iPhone better run the 4g LTE network or I am getting a htc/ google phone. The LTE system will be in place in every major city in the next 6 months. I use skype so I need LTE. 3G drops calls.

I find it funny that many will complain about the phone not being 4G ready when 3G will remain popular because of the price.

4G from the big three will cost you the other arm and leg they haven’t already charged.

I’ll take an iPhone 5 with an A5 chip and 8mp anytime over an Android.

Androids are great, but new Android phones come out almost monthly. They produce like roaches and feel outdated within months.

I think it will cost the same

Its already launched in Ottawa. 1st two months are free, but after that reality hits.

The rates consist of 1.5GB for $45, and 9GB for $90. From there one every GB will cost you an additional $10.

    That’s quite high when 6GB of 3G is $30
