Kickstarter to Launch Canada-Based Projects This Summer
Kickstarter has been the ultimate platform for entrepreneurs to jump start their ideas (just think of the Pebble smart watch). This morning, Kickstarter informed its followers the site will open up projects to Canada this summer on Twitter:

Currently, Kickstarter projects are limited to the United States and the United Kingdom. But that will soon change this summer as Canada is added to the list. Interested parties can submit their email here to be informed when the launch takes place.
