SwitchEasy Cases: MONSTERS™ For iPhone 5 [REVIEW]

Previously, we have reviewed a bunch of really cool iPhone 5 cases from SwitchEasy, which include the SwitchEasy Colors, SwitchEasy NUDE, SwitchEasy TONES and more recently, the SwitchEasy BONDS case. Just as pleased as we have been with all the other cases, using the SwitchEasy MONSTERS™ ($19.99) has been an equally pleasing experience as well. Find out why right after the break.

As always, SwitchEasy ships its MONSTERS™ case with a pair of screen protectors, two headphone jack  / Lightning port protectors, a microfiber cloth and a squeegee. Available in five different colors, each of these funky silicon cases features its own goofy-looking monster face, which is actually what makes these cases unique. The two MONSTERS™ we received were Wicky (blue) & Ticky (black), while other options include Scrappy (green), Freaky (yellow) and Pinky (pink).

Similar to any other silicon case, the installation is very simple. The snap on case covers the iPhone 5’s rear and sides completely, including the volume and power buttons, while adding minimal bulk to the iPhone’s slim profile. Like the SwitchEasy Colors, the MONSTERS™ case also goes over the home button, except it does not have a jelly button but rather hosts a raised, tactile home button for added protection. The headphone and Lightning ports at the bottom are covered by a removable color matched, single connector protector with a central opening for the speaker.

For me, SwitchEasy has once again lived up to its standards of producing great looking silicon cases with the MONSTERS™ series, with all the extra goodies at a price that is gong to be real hard for the competition to beat. The MONSTERS™ iPhone 5 case is funny, its protective and a real eye-catcher. Totally recommended!

Terrible case. Started falling apart after 2 weeks. Dropped phone from 2ft yesterday….glass smashed. Total joke.
