iGoogle Launches for the iPhone

One of the best features of the iPhone is the internet capabilities of Safari browser. Web pages are rendered the exact same way they would look on a desktop or notebook computer. With the proliferation of the iPhone in the USA and parts of Europe (minus Canada–doh! Lucky I have mine, hehe), many companies are now making optimized web pages for the iPhone.

I have previously posted about the Top iPhone Optimized Websites, and today I’m going to add one more to the list. It’s another offering from none other than our friends at Google. They’ve recently launched an iPhone optimized page for their web search portal, iGoogle. If you haven’t visited iGoogle before, check it out on your PC/Mac. It’s one of the best homepages you can have since it loads fairly quickly.

iGoogle for the iPhone is no different. Everything is just as aesthetically pleasing to the eye as the regular iGoogle. As you can see from the screen shot below, after signing into your Google Account you will be able to see all of your saved preferences, whether they are RSS feeds or bookmarks. Even widgets how up on the iPhone optimized iGoogle–cool!

You can visit iGoogle on your iPhone by visiting http://www.google.com/ig/i

Contest Update: My review of the StealthSIM is almost finished…all I need is my friend’s OTB 1.1.2 iPhone to test it out. Once that’s done, I’m going to post up the contest details so you can win a free StealthSIM! I have an extra Rogers SIM card (new) that I will be throwing into the mix as well.

Contest #2 Update: I have an upcoming review of iPhoneRingToneMaker and will be giving away free copies of the software to three lucky readers. So stay tuned!
