TransLink for the iPhone: Transit Maps and Schedules
If you’re living in Vancouver and you take public transit, then the following post is going to be of interest to you. Translink has launched an iPhone optimized version of their website a while back. On it you will find information related to bus routes, Skytrain, West Coast Express, and the Seabus.
The cool thing about the site is that it is very easy to use on the iPhone. How to access transit maps? Just rotate your iPhone and the maps appear! You can also search for specific bus route information to route your journey around Vancouver.
What’s next for the Translink mobile website? Well, the creators of website at Handi Mobility are soon launching a location-aware app via the App Store, according to Igor from Handi Mobility. Other included features will include the Buzzer and rider feedback options. All I have to say is if you take public transit in Vancouver, this is a must have addition to your bookmarks!
