The Griffin Elan Form Chrome is one of the new additions to the Elan Form family. Made from top-grain leather and an impact resistant polycarbonate shell, the Elan Form Chrome provides your iPhone 3G with sufficient protection while not blocking you from any of the iPhone functions.
Along the front, back, and sides of the case, you have chrome accents covering the case and included in the package, you have a screen film protector (and cleaning cloth) that protects the iPhone screen from scratches, damage, or smudges. You have full access to the silent switch, speaker, mic, dock connector, volume buttons, sleep/wake button, headphone jack, SIM tray, and camera.
Also, as common to the Elan Forms, you have Griffins EasyDock system that lets you easily charge or sync your iPhone in a dock without having to remove the phone from the case. The bottom half of the case simply slides off and can be slid back on after syncing is complete.

I’d love to win this case because I currently have an invisible shield on but my phone has fallen out of my pocket a lot and ive noticed that protecting it from scratches isnt the only thing i have to do. Seeing how this case is impact resistant makes it an awesome choice.
I need this case because my iPhone has been naked for the past year. Yes, it hurts my heart to say it. And I just haven’t found a case that looks as nice as this one does.
I fear that my luck may soon run out if I don’t cover the baby. I may drop it. It may fall out of my pocket. A ram may attack me and target the rectangular lump in my right pocket (and you never know when a ram might attack)…
But this situations would be made less painful (especially the ram one) if I only had the Elan Form Chrome.

I have had my iPhone ever since July 11, 08, and have never thought to get a case, especially because I have dropped it so many times without it being damaged. Then one day, I dropped it on a carpeted concrete floor, and poof! There goes the glass! I am in the process of purchasing a new glass for it, and would appreciate extra protection so it never happens again! Thanks

My invisible sheild is falling apart
I need this case because I have gotten a new iPhone, and the invsibleshield isn’t going to be enough anymore. This, after my friend dropped his iPhone (with invisibleshield on), and now, he has this horrible crack right over it. So, basically, I need something that can protect from scratches AND drops. That, and the Elan Form Chrome looks VERY nice, kinda like Rich Corinthian Leather, except that it’s actually real! 🙂
Thanks for continuing to publish an amazing blog and more importantly, one for us Canucks. Boy, the Griffin Elan Chrome would come in handy for me. My iPhone really takes a beating in the ICU. I’ve dropped it on more than one occasion, slid it across many a rough surface and otherwise bobbled it with latex gloves on. Looks like this case would give me a better grip on it.

With my job, my iPhone is constantly being pulled in and out of my pocket and thrown around that it needs a case to protect it. Im lucky I haven’t cracked the iPhone from some of the intense falls lol
I prefer the bulky feeling that my iPhone has a case on. The invisible shield is sexy and great, but having the iPhone in case feels that much better!
My iPhone would look sexy!

This case looks awesome. I sure could use it as my invisibleshield has been done for a while now. So my iPhone is naked (Ya I know it’s a sin) and whenever my friends been playing with it, they been dropping it every now and then. It’s been getting scratched a lot too in my pocket 🙁

My old elan form is completely mangled. I loved it and it has been the best case I have ever had. Its awesome being able to remove the bottom half of the case so my iphone fits into my clock charger. My other case I have to completely remove everytime and is a pain in the arse. A new one would be so awesome 🙂

I need a case because well frankly..I dont have a case. I always liked the slim look and could never find a perfect one that would fit me. I really like the leather and the chrome accents around the phone. Pretty stylish indeed. This would really would fit my needs, but if only I could win..hmmm 😉
I’m currently using an elan form case that is breaking apart on the edges and the screen protector is bent so dirt and dust keeps getting in the case and slowly scratching up my phone =(. I like the design of the elan form but mine is falling apart, this chrome one will be alot better and stronger, plus it looks sexy =).

I would have needed this case 3 days ago, when my fiancé dropped her naked iPhone on the pavement….. And cracked the screen….. The entire screen….
