The iPhone App Store has changed the lives of every iPhone user out there. With over 30,000 apps available for download, there is literally an app for everything. Out of the 1 billion recent app downloads, Concert Quest by Mazda Canada is one of those must have apps if you’re a concert goer.

Introducing Concert Quest by Mazda Canada

We have UrbanSpoon for finding restaurants in your area, but what about concerts? Well, this is where Concert Quest jumps in to fill the void. This app allows you to find concerts and events in your area in an easy to use interface, but also gives artist info, links to buy tickets, directions (integrated with Google Maps), and even where to park!

Some of the features include the following:
– Customized search by genre, artist, event name, venue, or location
– Flag your favorite artists and get notification when they are playing in your city
– Share upcoming concerts with friends
– Integrated Google Maps link for directions and parking info
– Direct links to TicketMaster, including ticket release date

Find Emerging Artists in Your Area Easily and Quickly

The neat thing about Concert Quest is that it doesn’t focus on the high profile artists. There are listings for many Indie and less known artists, so for music lovers out there you can definitely discover new talent easily and quickly.

The app is easy to use and is supported in the following cities: Banff, Brandon, Calgary, Edmonton, Hamilton, Kelowna, London, Montreal, Niagara Falls, Orillia, Ottawa, Prince George, Red Deer, Saskatoon, Toronto, Vancouver, Winnipeg.

Using Concert Quest is very straightforward. This Fall I will be attending the U2 concert in Vancouver. Here is a screenshot of the information provided for this concert. Improvements for the app could include expansion to its list of supported cities.

If you’re a live music aficionado and you love concerts, Concert Quest is a definitely a must have app that will extends the awesomeness of the iPhone. Another bonus is the app is free! Click here to download it via iTunes so you can start to “zoom zoom” to your entertainment-filled summer.
