Apple announced today that the App Store has hit and exceeded 100,000 apps! The last update Apple released was when the App Store hit 85,000 apps this past September.
“The App Store, now with over 100,000 applications available, is clearly a major differentiator for millions of iPhone and iPod touch customers around the world,†said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing. “The iPhone SDK created the first great platform for mobile applications and our customers are loving all of the amazing apps our developers are creating.â€

How many of these apps are really useful? and now we need an app that can search through the apps? lol
I wonder how many of the apps are actually used. I have installed lots of apps but only use NeuroMobile regularly. Most of the apps just don't stand the test of time.

Well it reflects life doesn't it? You can go to the supermarket and there's fine quality goods and there's fatty junk food. But there are 100s of thousands of products to choose from, What you buy is up to you. As developers we're just giving people the choice and they choose with their wallets or downloads in the case of the free versions.
