Fido Expands Vancouver CityFido Plan Zone

In a rare move, Fido has some minor good news for Vancouver customers of the recent CityFido plans that include 2000 and 4000 minutes each.

There are two CityFido plans that are available in nine zones across Canada. The plan details are listed below:

CityFido $40

• Minutes: 2,000 anytime minutes
• Text Messages: Unlimited incoming and outgoing text messages
• Features: Call waiting and Conference call included, Per-second billing, No System Access Fees
• Available Zones: Victoria, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, London, Toronto, Ottawa/Gatineau, Montreal, Quebec

CityFido $60

• Minutes: 4,000 anytime minutes
• Text Messages: Unlimited incoming and outgoing text messages
• Features: Call waiting and Conference call included, Per-second billing, No System Access Fees
• Available Zones: Victoria, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, London, Toronto, Ottawa/Gatineau, Montreal, Quebec

Like the Fido Local Calling Areas, each of these CityFido Zones have geographic limits that distinguish where local calls end and where long distance calls begin.

The good news here is that for Vancouver, BC CityFido customers, the Vancouver Zone has been extended to include Langley, Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows. Considering the geographic zone before the change, this is a huge increase.
