OK, serious question here: Is the Zagg shield somehow better then the screensavers I can pickup at the local flea market for $2?
This deal aside, I cough a little when I read about $25 screen savers. I’m either misinformed and they *ARE* somehow superior…or someone is making a fortune selling a piece of plastic apparently worth <$1 (even assuming a 100% profit margin for the flea market vendors, probably more) for $25 each.
Good deal if their products were actually any good. The Invisishield is a great invention, the rest of their stuff is pure garbage. Do a quick google search and you’ll find nothing but compaints and angry customers
Both me and my husband have tried the Zagg Shield and the shields from PhantomSkinz; PhantomSkinz wins by a long shot. It actually looks and feels like there is nothing covering your glass while the Zagg Invisableshield is anything but invisable; it feels strange, kinda “thick” and makes your screen look “watery”. We both bought Chromatics Skins for our 3GSs and they each came with 2 screen shields (matt and ultra-clear).
The Zagg skin is really not that good on the iPhone 4. I LOVED it on my 3G though.
With the 4 the skin lays on top of the device leaving it prone to catching and lifting. Its really the design of the device that causes this because there is no where for the skin to tuck (hiding the edges). Even with the bumper case on, the bumper itself can sometime pull or push the skin lifting t off of the phone…. Mine has had this happen on the front and without the bumper on the back, and I am really weary of spending another $30 for a sticker that’ll just peel off again.
