Around the middle of November, I started looking for various weather apps for my iPhone. While the stock Weather.app that ships with the iPhone and iPod touch is solid, I wanted an app with more information to it such as POP, visibility and so on. Of course, during my search, the App Store delivered. I found hundreds of apps, both free and paid, that met my requirements and some that even exceeded them

Well, one of those apps, called GPS Weather -Canada by Nomadic Code, caught my eye because of its simplicity in design and friendly user interface. GPS Weather – Canada gives users easy access to weather information by simply using their current location. While most apps require users to type in their location, this weather app uses the device GPS to find your approximate location. Users can still input their own location by choice, but using the GPS is so much quicker!

Once located, users can save their favorite locations for quick updates on-the-fly. When retrieving the chosen location, the app provides a ton of data, including:

• The actual weather
• Pressure
• Tendency
• Visibility
• Air Quality Index
• Dewpoint
• Humidity
• Wind
