Virgin Mobile Releases “Members Lounge” App For iPhone
Recently, Virgin Mobile released a “Members Lounge” iPhone app for Virgin Mobile subscribers.
The app is similar to the previously released Rogers and Fido “My Account” apps where users can check their monthly balance, pay their monthly invoice, review their rate plan and add-ons, and check their unbilled wireless usage.
Unlike the Rogers/Fido apps, the Members Lounge app also adds a “benefits” section where users can search for discounts at various establishments such as stores, restaurants, and hotels. There are even contests to win free concert tickets, for example.
However, like most of the carrier-based apps, users will have to be on the 3G connection to access the app, since the app uses the SIM card to authenticate the user via the network.
Overall, if you have Virgin Mobile service, this is a great companion app.

Is there a Bell app and does it work differently?
Thank you for posting. As I plan to change my carrier, nice to know this one works good!
I wish Gary would do a survey of all carriers.
I hope Wind and Mobile City will be able to have their network upgraded for iphones in the near future.
