Rogers/Fido Offer $50 Credit On Eligible iPhone 3GS Activations/Upgrades

For those in the market for an iPhone 3GS, or if you just cannot find an iPhone 4, Rogers/Fido are offering a $50 “instant bill credit” on eligible 8GB iPhone 3GS activations/upgrades, making the device cost $49.00 on a 3-year term.

3-year Activation

If you start a new 3-year voice and data plan with Rogers or Fido, at the retail location you pay $99.00 for the device. On your first or second invoice, you will receive a $50.00 credit.

The plan must be either a separate voice and separate data plan or combo voice and data plan that equates to at least $50.00/month.

3-year Upgrade/Renewal

For upgrades/renewals, as long as you are eligible to renew on a 3-year contract with a voice and data plan, everything shows up on your first or second invoice. In other words, you will see a $99.00 charge and then a $50.00 credit on the invoice.

The plan must be either a separate voice and separate data plan or combo voice and data plan that equates to at least $50.00/month.

At this time, there is no expiration date for this offer. The promotion is on-going until further notice.

Hahahahaha
Nice way to clear out the inventory for the 5 later this year.

The 3GS should of been $50 when the iPhone 4 came out instead of $99….

Who would actually buy an 8gb iPhone. I can’t believe apple actually made this product.

$50 on a 1, MAYBE 2 year contract…I might bite – my wifes 3G is dying.

Three years? Get stuffed, Rogers. I’m better to buy a used 3GS privately at that point once I roll in the overall term contract price I’ll end up paying.
