Apple Changes “What Makes An iPhone An iPhone” TV ads

In March, Apple began airing new “What makes an iPhone” TV ads. At the time, Apple posted three iPhone advertisements focusing on users who do not currently have an iPhone.

The ads began with the phrase “if you don’t have an iPhone” and then demonstrated features found on the iPhone such as the App Store, iBooks, or iPod + iTunes. Each ad ended with “if you don’t have an iPhone, well, you don’t have an iPhone”.

The updated TV ads feature the same basic app content, but the ending phrase is much friendlier noting “just one more thing that makes an iPhone an iPhone.”
