iPhone 4S orders from Apple have already shipped and tracking numbers have been emailed out. The question remains whether shipments will arrive by tomorrow for the iPhone 4S launch, or if Apple’s estimated arrival of October 19th is just an inflated date.
It now appears UPS is confirming to Canadian customers via twitter and email that iPhone 4S shipments will arrive by tomorrow, as seen below:
This will depend on how quickly UPS will be able to ship packages tomorrow. Hope you’ll be home to sign for it!

A number of Canadians in Ontario on MacRumors are posting pictures of UPS delivery dates scheduled for October 14-th by noon. So it looks like some will be delivered tomorrow.

Just chatted with UPS support via Twitter and I can confirm: iPhones are scheduled to be delivered by the end of the day TOMORROW 14th-OCT-2011 !!!
And that’s in good old NS so, I think we got all of Canada covered tomorrow.

My status has nothing listed right now, this is all from the rep. I think everyone’s iPhones right now are going to Alaska, won’t get any information now until they hit Canadian soil I think (that’s when the detailed tracking begins).
What also reassures me that she did check, is I sked her about delivery times for my area so I could have someone present to sign, and she stated there was no specific information for my area, so it worked out great.

My Rogers has shown “shipping in progress” for a few days now. Should be able to pick it up tomorrow morning.

I was told last night from a Telus rep that all the Telus iPhone 4S handsets were being shipped out to customers and stores today. He didn’t specify a time but said that it was being shipped on October 13th. He also said they were not coming from China but rather a distribution centre here in Canada. Hence why we haven’t been able to track it. In all likely hood they say customers should receive their iPhone 4S between October 14-18th. If you still haven’t received your phone by that time you should call Telus.
Mine says delivery by noon on Monday and I called UPS. They told me their system showed delivery on Tuesday!!! I asked if there was any chance on getting the package tomorrow and they wouldn’t answer this question. I’m in the GTA.

I tend to see the Scheduled Delivery whenever it has arrived to a UPS location. I saw the Scheduled Delivery when it was in Hong Kong Airport, and when it left Scheduled Delivery disappeared.

Did you order over the phone or online? And, just out of curiosity, how many digits is your tracking number? Mine isn’t even enough to qualify as a Canada Post tracking number, which was why the rep. on the phone thought it must just be an internal tracking number for warehousing.

Directly from the store. Both of our contracts with Rogers were up, so I spent a day at the mall and the phone shopping around for new contracts. Bell was way cheaper than what Rogers was charging me, so I left a deposit for the 2 phones and said I would switch. After talking to Rogers retentions I know I made tg right decision.

Nice, wife’s order is in Alaska as well, but have never seen a scheduled delivery on it at any stage… Maybe I’ll give them a call.

Shipments out east come from Alaska to Louisville, KY and then to Toronto or wherever. Mine is currently on flight UPS63 to Kentucky. Still hoping for tomorrow.

Ontario is a city in California as well; the packages destined for western Canada were sent to the UPS depot there. It is kind of silly that it has to go that far south then back up to Canada though.

Promising update: Flight UPS474 from Louisville to Montreal-Mirabel was scheduled to depart at 3:51 AM but actually left at 5:03 AM. This kind of delay is rather unusual and the departure scan on the UPS tracking page shows 4:42 AM which looks about right.
Looks like with some luck we may be getting the phones today after all 🙂

My Montreal-bound phone is now in Mount Hope, ON, Canada … Arrival scan on the tracking page is from 6:07, so I guess that means there is still hope 🙂

Exact same thing for me. I don’t expect it to get to Montreal and then out to the local delivery truck today. I’ll probably get in on monday if I am home when the UPS guy passe by. Then I also have to get to a Rogers store to get my sim exchanged for a micro-sim. Worse case I’ll get it tuesday/wednesday from the UPS depot.

My latest is a location scan in Mount Hope, ON as well. I am literally 15 minutes from there. I called UPS and talked to them as the auto system only says it is on its way to me. She said it is on it’s way to the Brampton location and is due for delivery on the 18th!!! WTF! I asked if that is the case if I can have it held for pick up and she said no. What a joke UPS is.

It amazes me that my 4s took only one day to travel from China to Mount Hope, ON. After speaking with ups, I’m being told it need to route to another sorting centre and not to expect delivery to Brampton, ON until Tuesday. Go figure
Mine’s been sitting at the local rural distribution depot since late Friday. I don’t fault UPS for the delay since, come on…. China to final delivery in less than 30 hours? Have we lost our sense of wonder? Given that the weekend has thrown 2 extra days into final delivery, and Apple is more than capable at being able to track overall trends in deliveries of past first day releases to individual Canadian addresses, Apple could have shipped at 12:09 am Wednesday instead of 12:09 am Thursday. instead, Apple chose to ship when they did, knowing individual pre-orders would arrive after the weekend. Not a bad move on their part considering how hammered their servers have been with everyone trying and mostly failing to update to iOS 5. (Hint: download the +700MB .ipsw upgrade file through your browser and then install from the downloaded file.). Besides…. I’ve come to realise this anticipation makes me feel like a kid again on a winter’s eve, wondering if I can stay awake long enough to hear hooves on the rooftop. 🙂
