Curling.ca Mobile App Now Available
A welcome addition to my sports app folder; The Canadian Curling Association (CCA) has released a full featured sports app.
The app provides access to news headlines, real-time championship event scoring, photos, and videos. And of interested for the travelling curler, the app offers a great new way to locate curling clubs across the country.
The curling season is fast approaching, notably, with Saskatoon hosting the 2012 Tim Hortons Brier, March 3 – 11, and Red Deer hosting the 2012 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, February 18 – 26.
For now the app is English only, but a French language version will be coming soon.
To download, click here — it’s free.

Who watches curling?
Lots of people do. It’s pretty incredible sport when you realize how accurate they can curl those heavy rocks.
A lot of Canadians.
2.5 million people watched the 2010 Brier (an average of 1.6 million).
