A new Kickstarter project called the Slingshot is a smart instant table-top tripod which lets you mount just about any smartphone for stabilized video shooting and still photography. But that’s not all. The Slingshot lets you shoot one-handed and even allows charging cables of your smartphone to be plugged in during use. To get a better idea, take a look at the following image.

The Slingshot was conceived by Charles Waugh, a professional photographer and design engineer in Portland, Oregon. The project has already met its modest funding goal of $20,000 in merely two days. To back this project or find out more, click here.
