This Awesome Gadget Lets You Digitize Paper Photos, Negatives & Slides With An iPhone 4/4S [VIDEO]
ION, the company that makes the popular arcade gaming peripherals for iPhone and iPad, has developed a cool gadget called iPics2Go that will let your iPhone 4/4S digitize paper photos, 35mm negatives and slides (via Gizmodo). iPics2Go is basically a box shaped device that includes the necessary lighting to make the whole thing work, as well as a 3 x 5 and 4 x 6 photo holder, 35mm slide & negative tray and batteries. The product is available for US $63 (£39.99) at this website.
Below is the official product description:

Think of the 100’s of hours you’ll have to spend converting your photo albums! Total waste of time and money!
definitely, there have been a few kickstarters similar to this (forget the names), but all it does is position your iphone to easily take a picture of a physical photo. those were going for like $10-$15, which is a more reasonable price range for that…
The kick-starter projects don’t work with negatives.
What a great gadget! Better than sitting at a scanner for hours on end.
