Report: Pegatron Has Reportedly Started Production of the Next iPhone
We have heard previous rumours about the next iPhone’s production already to have started production in China, and now Digitimes notes their sources indicate Pegatron is right in the mix:
Pegatron has begun production of a new version of the Apple iPhone at its factory in Shanghai, eastern China, according to industry sources in Taiwan.
Back in May, Digitimes also reported Pegatron had landed a contract for the next iPhone, with a launch rumoured for September. The next iPhone is rumoured to have a two-toned metal back and also include LTE, NFC and 1GB of RAM.

The report also notes the company will possibly be the second manufacture of the next generation iPad, with shipments to come in the third quarter.
