New iPhone Leaks Out Of Foxconn, Video Shows First Boot up

With the iPhone event approaching exactly a week from today, we are expecting numerous last minute leaks. Unlike past leaks we have shown you the video we will show you today just isn’t of a dummy device, the iPhone actually turns on. According to M.I.C. Gadget, this is how the device was discovered:

A tipster tells Chinese tech media Vgooo.com that he has “accidentally” discovered an iPhone 5 prototype when he made a visit to his friend at Foxconn’s factory in Jincheng.

Watch the video below:

The video begins with a comparison between an iPhone 4S and New iPhone. On the New iPhone a 4-inch screen, two-toned back-plate, nano-SIM slot, re-positioned headphone jack, and mini-dock connector are all present. After the comparison, a boot-up was completed on both devices. The New iPhone was quicker to boot, but wasn’t registered in the iOS developer program:

This device is not registered as part of the iPhone Developer Program. If you are a member of the program, please register your device in the @@url@@.”

Nevertheless, I believe this is the very first boot-up video I have seen of the iPhone 5. I very much enjoy these better than the simple pictures or design videos of the device. This type of video is at least more likely to be legitimate over many others.

Also I noticed this video really showed off the similarities between the New iPhone and its predecessor. The only difference is the height and thickness, the overall design is the same.

Is this video the real-deal? Let me know what you think.
