Mujjo Launches Improved Touchscreen Gloves – In 4 New Colors

Mujjo has today launched its Autumn/Winter 12-13 touchscreen gloves collection, with improved fundamental elements i.e the insulation, aesthetics and fit. Previously only available in black, the new touch screen gloves collection comes in 4 sophisticated new colors; natural gray, sandstone, lavender and coral pink.

According to the Dutch manufacturer, lots of tests were performed on various shapes and sizes on numerous hands to optimize the touchscreen gloves fit. The new higher density texture improves insulation while the glove remains highly stretchable. Thanks to this elasticity, the glove takes the shape of your hand and offers a sleek fit, which guarantees an optimized typing experience.

“We tested miles of yarn to come up with improved anti-pilling properties for the new touchscreen gloves. The improved yarn offers strength while remaining soft and guarantees durability over time.

While developing the new texture, we literally spent hour’s texting in an icebox. The result is an optimized balance of insulation, conductivity and elasticity”.

The new touchscreen gloves are now available for pre-order (€24.95) in Mujjo’s Online Store and are expected to be available in retail from November 12.

Last season, when I reviewed Mujjo’s original touchscreen gloves, I did love their perfect fit and touchscreen usability, but was not impressed with their ability to resist cold. Though the company now claims to have greatly improved the insulation with the new collection, it’ll be interesting to see if these perform any better in extreme colds.

We hope to report on any product improvements in our product review in the coming weeks but if you happen to grab a pair before us, don’t forget to share your experience with us!
