MobileSyrup points us to some new promo plans launched by Virgin Mobile to ‘conveniently’ match some revised Canada-wide promotional plans added by Koodo the other day. Check out Koodo’s plans below:
Here’s what’s new in these Virgin Mobile unlimited Canada-wide plans that range from $30-$60:
$30 Canada-Wide Talk: 75 Canada-wide minutes, 7pm evenings and weekends, 100MB of data, unlimited SMS/MMS to the U.S., caller ID and voicemail
$45 Canada-Wide Talk: Unlimited incoming, 5pm evenings and weekends, 250MB of data, unlimited SMS/MMS to the U.S., caller ID and voicemail
$60 Canada-Wide Talk: Unlimited Canada-Wide Minutes, 1GB of data, unlimited SMS/MMS to the U.S., caller ID and voicemail (excludes MB and SK)
If you’re a super light iPhone user that usually relies on Wi-Fi, the $30 plans are a decent deal as those minutes are Canada-wide too. Let us know if you jump on any of these plans.

Wooo, Collusion at the best. If virgin offered a iPhone subsidy on that $60 and had 6gb of data I would go on it.

Plans are decent. Just wish there was more than 1gb
Be careful … I work for both … those plans do NOT go on smart phones lIkea iPhone …. only more basic phones … same with Fido new plan
so does that mean i cannot buy a unlocked blackberry 9900 or iphone (off craigslist) and then use one of these data plans
The plans are a joke, if you are a current virgin smartphone 3 year plan subscriber you have to go to plans that start at 55 – because you HAVE to be in Plantinum. To get the same features of the 60 plan you have to pay 100. Virgin used to be a good company but has gone WAY down hill.
