Instagram Announces Web Profiles Coming This Week
Instagram users on all platforms: we have great news for you! To make photo sharing easier, Instagram profiles are about to hit the Web!

The new service is aimed at taking your Instagram profile onto the Web, meaning it will display your profile photo, bio and your photos, which anybody can see by typing www.instagram.com/[your username] in their browser.
Turns out Instagram is opening its borders, as with Web profiles non-Instagram users can see your photos as well. However, if your profile is private, the images you uploaded won’t be available to the public, but for logged-in Instagram users only.
With Instagram on the Web
“You can follow users, comment and “like” photos, and edit your profile easily and directly from the Web”, the company blog informs.
There are some limitations though — at least for now: you can’t use the Web to upload photos, because Instagram is focused on the production of photos from mobile devices.
