Apple’s iPhone 5 Shipping Times Decrease to 2-3 Weeks
Apple’s online store has updated its iPhone 5 shipping times. Previously set at 3 to 4 weeks, all models of the iPhone 5 are now showing availability as 2 to 3 weeks:

Pre-orders took place on September 14th and within an hour or so shipping estimates slipped to 2 to 3 weeks, then eventually 3 to 4 weeks four days later. Shortages of the iPhone 5 are allegedly blamed on the complex manufacturing process and also Apple’s strict quality control standards which were ramped up after initial orders shipped with minor scratches and scuffs out of the box.
Are you still waiting for an iPhone 5? Apple now offers iPhone 5 reservations online for in-store pick up for carrier-locked models.

After Browett was fired, I thought they will start selling unlocked models in store as some people said this was his decision.
