iPhone 5 Pre-Order Shipping Estimates Slip to 3-4 Weeks
It appears those ordering new Apple’s iPhone 5 pre-orders will have to wait just a bit longer. New shipping estimates note the delay now shows 3-4 weeks (as noted by MacRumors); previously this was at 2-3 weeks.
Just after the first hour of initial pre-orders last week, order ship estimates dropped to 1-2 weeks after insatiable demand for the 6th-generation iPhone. Apple divulged yesterday iPhone 5 pre-orders hit 2 million in the first 24 hours, an impressive feat considering pundits have deemed the new device ‘boring’.
So far, the first iPhone 5 pre-orders are stuck in the “preparing for shipment” phase, but we are anticipating that to change as we progress into Wednesday.

If the above situation is the case, then I’ll end up paying $84.00 for a 64GB iPhone 5 ($379.00 minus a $100.00 credit for re-signing a 3yr term minus my $145.00 fido dollars minus the $50.00 late arrival credit). I’ll take that and run.
sorry, but what’s that “$100 credit for re-singing”? am i missing something? isn’t $379 the subsidized price already reflecting your new 3yr term?
Does anyone know when I will get my iPhone 5 if I buy it online right now? Live in Winnipeg. Mb
