Windows Phone Boot Error Says “Insert Your Windows Installation Disc” [PIC]
F-Secure Chief Risk Officer Mikko Hyppönen has just tweeted a photo of his Windows Phone 8 smartphone which apparently crashed during boot up showing an error screen that says “Insert Your Windows Installation Disc”. The only question is, where? (via The Loop).
“Windows Phone failed to boot. Please insert your Windows installation disc…”: twitter.com/rkkski/status/…#wontfit

The error screen displays the classic vanilla Windows error message indicating that something went wrong with the OS during the boot process. According to the error message, the first step to recover from the problem is to “Insert your Windows installation disc”, followed by a restart. Well, the irony here is pretty much self explanatory isn’t it? 😉

ahhh, good ol’ Windows … reminds me why i cant stand their OS.
I miss using and troubleshooting Windows too…NOT!
Yeah, I’d rather have a permanent Apple logo, or frozen swirly circle, when my iPhone crashes. Error ignorance is bliss.
Beach ball of death rules
That never happens on iPhones, by the way. At least get educated when you make up shit.
Spinning wheel of death?
Yeah because my iPhone crashes exactly NEVER.
Clearly you don’t have an iPhone: the beach ball is a Mac thing.
hahahaha funny one!
Apparently this is a fake?
I have a Lumia 920 and can say it stinks. My iPhone 5 kills it in every way except for predictive typing which is amazing on WP8.
I’ve got an iPhone 5 and it sucks in every possible way. Gotta switch it to a Lumia 920 asap.
Tool.
Nothing from Microsoft surprises me anymore
