Facebook for iOS Updated to Send Voice and Video Clips

Facebook for iOS has been updated to include the ability to send voice messages and video clips. Also improved is the ‘Nearby’ tab to help you discover places close by and to see where your friends have visited.

What’s New in Version 5.4

Share your moments with voice messages and video recordings right in the app.
• Send voice messages when you have more to say
• Record and share videos right from the app
• Share and connect with your favorite places using the improved Nearby tab

Interestingly enough, these new voice and video features previously made their way to the Facebook Messenger for iOS app (which also exclusively received VoIP calling). Facebook needs to unify their iOS apps as it would make things easier for users.
