Camera+ v3.8 Adds 8 Languages; Teases Upcoming Effects Layering Update

Tap Tap Tap has announced today’s release of Camera+ v3.8 includes support for the following 8 languages:

  • German
  • Spanish
  • Italian
  • French
  • Japanese
  • Korean
  • Simplified Chinese
  • Traditional Chinese

The company used the service from Wordcrafts to help with implementing language support and revealed they originally had planned to add 20 languages, but cut them down at the last minute as it would take too many resources to continue adding updates in numerous languages. So they essentially decided to go with the most ‘popular’ ones.

Camera+ v3.9 was also teased, which will include a new feature to do effects layering and also mark the unification of the iPhone and iPad versions:

3.9 is part of the convergence between the the iPhone and iPad versions and we’ll be introducing a nice UI in it so that you can do effects layering. When you combine two or more effects in Camera+, you can get some really cool results

Sneak Peek

Moreover, Tap Tap Tap says even more work has yet to come and revealed parallel development on Camera+ 4.0 has been in the works for the past two years. We can’t wait to see what these guys come up with. Camera+ is by far our favourite photography app for post-processing photos taken on the iPhone.

Camera+ is available for $0.99 in the App Store (it seem to be permanently “on sale”.
