Apple Wins Design Patents For 7th Generation iPod Nano, EarPods & More
The US Patent and Trademark Office has today published four design patents for Apple, including the ones for 7th generation iPod nano and the new EarPods, Patently Apple is reporting. Other two design patents cover the fifth generation iPod Touch and the iPod nano Lanyard “The Loop.”
Even though it’s rare to see design patents get fast tracked as these have today, it’s a trend that should continue being that we’re in an era of quick design turnovers.
Today’s granted design patents have been credited to Apple’s VP of industrial design Jonathan Ive and his team members.
