Facebook for iOS Adds Icons for Detailed Status Updates

Facebook for iOS has been updated to bring new icons for even more detailed status updates. Just look for the ‘smiley’ icon next to the camera icon within the status update window.

What’s New in Version 6.2
• Add icons to status updates to show what you’re feeling, reading, watching and more (English only)
• Easily change who can see something you’ve shared
• Start a new conversation with photos you receive in messages
• Bug fixes

Now, when posted a status update users can just choose from a variety of actions ranging from: feeling, watching, reading, listening to, drinking, eating and playing. Once users choose a particular status, an icon will accompany the update, as seen below:

Back in April, Facebook added stickers to their app to liven up messages. Looks like status updates are going to be even more entertaining (or annoying) going forward.
