theScore to Push Out Live In-App Coverage of NBA, NHL Draft

Now that the Stanley Cup Finals and NBA Finals are over, the next thing on most people’s minds are the upcoming drafts for both leagues, which usually gives a preview of future superstars.

theScore is set to push out live in-app coverage of both drafts, with the NBA Draft to take place on June 27th and NHL Draft on June 30th. These ‘Draft Trackers’ will offer real-time information for fans such as the following:

  • Transactions: Fans won’t miss a single transaction with theScore. Users can also personalize the experience, filtering by team to focus on the news that really matters to them.
  • Insider Tweets: We’ll be curating all the top tweets from experts across NBA and NHL, keeping fans on top of all the latest rumours and news
  • Scouting Reports: Our NBA and NHL experts from will be on hand to supply full scouting reports on the top 30 players, giving fans the inside track on their strengths and weaknesses.
  • Push Alerts: We’ll be sending the top five picks straight to fans’ mobile device, so they’ll know about all the big stories as soon as they happen.

Currently the NHL “Mock Draft” of Draft Tracker is already live to give fans a preview, under the News section of the app.
