Apple Updates App Store Guidelines With Enforced Rules Against Low-Effort Apps
Within the App Store Guidelines support page, Apple urges developers not to "submit apps that are indistinguishable from what's already widely available."
Apple Updates iPhoto, iMovie and GarageBand Ahead of iOS 7 Launch
Apple has updated its iOS versions of iPhoto, iMovie and GarageBand just ahead of the public release of iOS 7, which will be highly expected to debut at the company’s September 10 Special Event dedicated to the iPhone.

Last year Apple updated its entire line up of iOS apps after the public release of iOS 6.
