Calendars+ ($6.99) Now Free as Readdle’s New Calendars 5 Comes Sept. 12

Calendars 5 Blog

Readdle has teased its brand new Calendars 5 app coming for the iPhone and iPad, set to debut on September 12:

Calendars 5 is a completely new app and will be sold separately. In a nutshell, Calendars 5 is a smart calendar that understands human language and supports tasks and iOS Reminders. It has a clean design focused on your events. It just helps you to manage your day, week and life in general, and does it good.

Check out the promo video below:

Apple does not allow paid upgrades, so once Calendars 5 launches, Calendars + (which is now a free download!) will be removed from the App Store. Calendars 5 will debut at an introductory price of $4.99 (it will normally be $6.99). It will be able to understand natural language and allow users to add custom reoccurring events, which the company says is the only app to do so.

Click here to download Calendars+ while it’s free ($6.99 value; great app to sync with Google Calendar).

Calendars 5 looks interesting, and it appears it has an integrated to-do list, which is a nice plus. I currently use Any.Do and Cal because Any.Do has a Chrome app, so my to-do list is availabe on my desktop as well, and Cal integrates it on my iPhone (although not on my desktop).

The price tag for Calendars 5 is kind of a turnoff, though. Yes, I’m cheap.

$4.99 for a great app that will save your time, understand your language, sync your iOS reminders and much more is fair. At least we think so! 🙂

Will there be a desktop version of Cal 5 — for Mac?? I want it on all my devices. 🙂 I already have it for Ipad and Iphone. Love it! “We want more, we want more!”
