Rockstar Releases Free GTA V Manual on iOS, iFruit Companion Apps
Rockstar yesterday announced the release of two iOS companion apps prior to the worldwide release of Grand Theft Auto V: iFruit and the official GTA V manual. The highly anticipated game was released today for PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles.
The iFruit iOS app allows gamers to create a custom vehicle from their iPhone or iPad, then pick up their order inside Grand Theft Auto V (you’ll get a call from your local mechanic to come by). The app also includes a virtual pet known as Chop the Dog to play with.

The Grand Theft Auto V manual is Rockstar’s complete set of instructions for the game, which is well over 100 pages. There is also a digital version of the game map so you can zoom in and explore different areas of Los Santos and Blaine County.

Click here to download the Grand Theft Auto V manual and Grand Theft Auto iFruit–both are free. Did you pick up your copy of GTA V today?

I did! Downloading both apps as we speak!
Sweet!
Having a blast so far! STEEP learning curve, but otherwise very enjoyable. I’m a few missions in and it’s already overwhelming how much stuff there is to do! Really looking forward to GTA Online 🙂 Thanks for the heads up about the Manual app, didn’t know there was one!
Glad you guys are enjoying the companion apps. Rockstar noted there were some connectivity issues, but I see they have been resolved.
The manual GTA V app works but iFruit does not allow users to log in still… 🙁
Doh! Must be the heavy demand still, so the problem persists.
Yea I can confirm iFruit isn’t connecting. Damnit, I wanted to train my dog 🙂
