The $70 monthly minimum means this is still not a good deal. I have a Koodo 1GB plan for $40.50 (in QC), so I’m saving $30/month vs. Telus. $30 x 24 months = $720, plus $79 comes to $799 for an iPhone 5. No thanks.
Of course, Telus owns Koodo, so they’re getting my money anyway, just less of it.
totally! even the phone is free, $70 minimum plan is still a draw back man! I’m paying around $40/month now, even though only $150mb data, but just enough for me! if i go to $70 plan for the phone, there’s no turning back later on, it’ll be a black hole in the future
