A comparable plan for customers outside of Manitoba (BC in this case) would cost $105 per month which includes 6GB of shareable data (3GB + 3GB bonus data promo).

Is there anything like this in Ontario?
Right when I started reading this I was like probably for Sask. or Manitoba
Yup, Sask. gets the best deals in Canada with the big 3. My bro In Sask. got the same plan last summer, BUT with 6GB data, for $65. It’s a regular on going deal.
Confirmed that it’s $60, not 65.
Funny how when there were rumors of Verizon coming the pig 3 were screaming bloody murder about being treated unfairly by the federal government yet they can’t even treat the provinces fairly with their assorted plans that vary depending on which part of the country you live in. I guess BC and Ontario need an entrepreneur with some DEEP pockets to start a rival wireless company. Then and only then will we here in both those provinces get the same kind of deals Saskatchewan, Manitoba & Quebec get!
Just out of curiosity, it would seem that most plans these days, or a lot of plans anyway, include unlimited nationwide LD… so what’s to stop people from getting their number in a region with better options? I already have friends who’ve left my city, but don’t bother changing their numbers.
Its actually $65 for the main line, and an additional $50 for the next (or $45 if you BYO phone). $115 plus taxes per month. Not entirely a “steal”
