Apple Updates App Store Guidelines With Enforced Rules Against Low-Effort Apps
Within the App Store Guidelines support page, Apple urges developers not to "submit apps that are indistinguishable from what's already widely available."
CIBC Mobile Banking for iOS Updated to Allow Registrations from your Device
CIBC has updated their Mobile Banking iOS app with a minor change to allow mobile banking registrations right from your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
Last fall, version 5.0 of the app introduced CIBC eDeposit, allowing customers to deposit cheques using their device cameras, making the financial institution the first to do so out of the ‘Big 6’ banks in Canada.
Earlier this year, Forrester Research named CIBC the top financial institution in Canada when it comes to mobile banking.
