PayPal has launched a new campaign offering free coffee ($5 credit) at select payment partners in Toronto. The free coffee campaign runs from July 21-31, 2014 and all you have to do is check-in with the PayPal app at the following 25 coffee shops:
Here’s how to get your free coffee ($5 credit):
1. Download the PayPal app for iOS or Android. Log in with your PayPal account (or create one within the app if you don’t already have one).
2. Click the ‘Shop’ button and select a location. Save the $5 offers and slide the blue ‘P’ to check in (don’t forget to add a profile picture).
3. Tell the cashier you’re paying with PayPal.
The promotion is part of PayPal’s first-ever brand campaign in Canada called “Powering the People Economy”.
Essentially you will get a $5 credit when you’re paying via PayPal at the locations above. Earlier this year the company launched mobile payments at 50 locations in Toronto and this campaign looks to get more people paying with PayPal.
